I can never really decide which is my favourite. Season one was simply amazing, it was so fast paced and refreshing and both seasons after that were so emotional and exciting. As far as I'm concerned season four doesn't exist. It was awful, I put myself through it once and I never want to have to do it again so I just forget about it.

It's hard to say, really. Almost all the classic moments happened in season one, though.

I reckon season 3. i reckon it's because the whole Caitlin - Johnny - Marissa - Ryan thing and stuff. It was exciting, and then with the end of the series and Marissa dying, which made me cry.

I didn't really like Johnny too much, he was annoying and kind of a less exaggerated repeat of Oliver (who I could not stand, btw). But I think Caitlin was a great addition in the third season. I wanted to see her interact a bit more with Ryan actually. I liked how he sorted out her problem straight away.
The end of the series destroyed me! They so would have made it if they had gone to Berkley together. *sigh*

Thing is, season three did nothing for me. I grew to hate Marissa by the end of season two - to the point where I cannot stand Mischa to this very day - and Johnny was an annoying character whose suicide/accidental end was so comical (because it was so convoluted) that it ceased to be tragic.

Honestly I couldn't watch anything but the first season, it was so witty and new and fast paced. The other seasons just didn't do it for me so I never finished the series

I watched all the seasons (although I pretend I was never subjected to season 4) but I do agree that there was something lacking in the others.
The first season was quite hard-hitting but it was still really refreshing but the more it went on the more it got dragged down with drama. I found myself more invested in the adults in the later seasons than the teenagers!

Its between seasons 1 and 2 for me, would have to go with season 1 I think. Until I watch season 2 again and change my mind!!

I cannot really pick my favourite season. I love Seasons 1,2 and 3 but i am not that fussed on season 4.

First. It was awesome. I couldn't wait the next episode. Second was pretty awesome too, but I wasn't that enthusiastic about it, but it had some awesome episodes. The third was ok, also had some good episodes. But fourht? What was that? I was watching it but I couldn't care less about it. So I have to say.. first.

Season 1, definitely. It had great episodes and it was the start of it all. Season 2 became too soap oper-ish for me..I barely stand season 3 and I never watched season 4 (just read summaries). I couldn't watch it without Marissa and Ryan getting with Taylor..come on, it was such a shame. They ruined this tv show.
