Kicking this new sparkly forum off with this question: What's your favourite teen drama show? I was going to do a poll but decided this would be better!
So, mine is and always will be One Tree Hill. It's my favourite show ever!
It has a faster pace than Dawson's Creek but allows for more character/relationship development than The O.C (and those two would be the others in my top 3). There's just so many characters I love and it has so many good storylines and so many beautifully written and directed episodes.
What's yours?

Gossip Girl, first and foremost. Pretty Little Liars is actually moving up a lot on my list since I watched the first ten episodes marathon. And Glee is just made of awesome-ness.

If Buffy doesn't count, then either Dawson's Creek or One Tree Hill. Can't decide!

Roswell for me I can watch it over and over again. I love it and even though it only had three seasons I feel like so much happened and I once did not get sick of it. Yes there were some episodes I didn't fancy of course but overall this is a show that I can watch over and over again back to back and never get sick of. I will say that Friday Night Lights is coming up fast and is pretty tied with Roswell and I feel the same way about it so I guess that is a favorite as well.
Like Pacey said above Buffy & Angel may have been my pick beside this or Friday Night lights.

Hmm. One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl. I really can't decide. First 4 seasons of OTH top GG for me, but the whole show, not so much. So for now, they're on the same level for me.

Dawson's Creek for me.
The storylines were so simple and less dramatic than many of it's predecessors. The characters were all flawed in one way or another and the writing was superb.
I love the way they the main 4 stuck through the whole show together and you could tell there was chemistry.
My So-Called Life and Degrassi come close as well.
I'm a fan of simplicity

This is really hard to choose but I think I would have to ge with OTH at its peak. BH 90210 will always have a special place for me as it was the first show I was really addicted to. And Dawsons Creek would be pretty high up too.

Dawson's Creek for me. The storylines were so simple and less dramatic than many of it's predecessors. The characters were all flawed in one way or another and the writing was superb. Agreed. With my own writing, I aim for simplicity. One of the major critiques the HP pilot script received was that it was 'too slow at the beginning' - to which I always pointed out the teaser of the DC pilot was as follows: Dawson and Joey are watching E.T. - The movie finishes and Joey refuses to stay the night. Dawson tries to talk her round, they discuss sexual politics and eventually she begrudgingly relents. Cue Paula Cole. Anyway, I'm torn. My three favourite shows of all time are FNL OTH and Dawson's because I think I can find a little of myself in all of them. Dawson's represents my youth almost perfectly, especially as a budding filmmaker. OTH, specifically Lucas, represents my constant inner turmoil in many ways. I was raised by a single mother under the scorn of a semi-absent father, but I was also an all-star athlete in high school who never really fit into the jock set because my passions were more creative than sporty. FNL just represents my attitude to life right now. I could so easily be Tim Riggins; I'd be a happy guy if I could spend my days laying on the couch drinking beer, playing football every Friday night and then taking home a pretty girl to watch the Texas sun set. So yeah, I'm copping out and picking three favourites, but at least I gave a reason

Well BH 90210 was the first teen drama I ever watched. It aired from the time i was 6 until 16 and at 6 i probably should not have been watching a show like that lol...but I remember every wed night watching it with my mom and my best friend...all 10 years so it's definately in the top 3.
As for my all time favorite I always answer with Dawson's Creek. It aired at just the right time...from when i was 14 to 20. When the WB network first launched, I remember it wasn't a part of everyone's cable package in all cities/towns. I went to stay with my Grandma for a week during the summer after season 1 had aired and ended up catching a couple repeats at her house since I was bored out of my mind. I then went back home and I kid you not made my mom call the cable company EVERYDAY and ask them when we were going to get a channel called the WB. Lol anyways I started watching it in the second season. I have rewatched again and again to the point whre I know certain episodes by heart. I guess what I love about the Creek is also it's simplicity. It's not about rich kids...I could relate, growing up in a small town near water and I too went through my very own high school love triangle that affected my entire group of friends in one way or another.
And I just discovered Friday Night Lights which I would say is right up there with DC for much of the same reasons...mainly relateability...I know what it's like to be from a small town where everyone knows everyone else and all the stores close up on friday nights for the high school football game because frankly there isn't anything else to do. (Not quite the texas level of insanity but the same basic idea)
