I don't like the sounds of this... 'One Tree Hill' has found its hit man -- EXCLUSIVE by James Hibberd Character actor Andrew Elvis Miller will play a deadly killer in the upcoming ninth and final season of CW’s veteran soap. Miller’s character is a Eastern European assassin with a flair for the dramatic (and, from the looks of things, rather nice teeth). Miller has previously appeared in episodes of The Sopranos, Ugly Betty and Criminal Minds. Especially since it’s the final season, the presence of hit man on the show could mean some serious stuff is about to go down … who would you like Miller to whack? source- insidetv.ew.com/2011/08/19/one-tree-hill-hitman/

I think he'll be wrapped up with Dan.
I don't like the sound of it either, there's not enough episodes to do this I don't think. Do you really think they'll kill someone off?!

I do think they'll kill someone off. It'll be Dan.

They will have to start the storyline from the very beginning of the season...that does seem like the likely choice Kandiman but also a little obvious...

In fairness, every time they've tried to do a 'surprise' on the show, it's had an obvious outcome. Season five finale, anyone?

They did manage to completely shock me with the Nanny Carrie/Dan storyline...when you think he's in the hospital but she's really holding him captive inside her house...I didn't see that one coming I must admit. Or Keith's death.

Like his season eight return as Quinn's murder consultant, for example.

I don't know how I feel about this I kind of feel since it is the final season it should be about the characters that have been around or ones that we already know. LOL I don't think Dan will ever die. He will outlive everyone.

I just read somewhere that Barbara Alyn Woods will also be returning but the source is a bit odd so watch this space.

You are right about that Kandiman, lets not forget him being married to Rachel. Haven't heard anything about Barbara Alyn Woods but I am all for bringing back as many of our favorites as possible. I would absolutely love to see Moira Kelly return! This article about CMM's return... One Tree Hill will get another Lucas fix before the show signs off this spring. Sources confirm to TVLine exclusively that Chad Michael Murray has closed a deal to return during the show’s upcoming ninth and final season. He won’t, however, be accompanied by his onscreen bride Hilarie Burton (Peyton). According to sources, the actress — who is now a regular on White Collar — was not invited back. To be fair, producers did ask Burton back last season and she declined. “Quite frankly, we just couldn’t make a deal,” creator Mark Schwahn told TVLine at the time. “Hilarie now has a child and a family, and she’s doing some nice work [on White Collar]” Lucas was last seen driving off into the sunset with Peyton and their new baby Sawyer. According to The CW, Lucas returns to Tree Hill after Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) reaches out to him for help.source- www.tvline.com/2011/08/one-tree-hill-chad-michael-murray-returns/

Barbara Alyn Woods is confirmed for season 9! The Prodigal Son Returns! Chad Michael Murray Is Coming Back to One Tree Hill Lucas Scott is coming home. Chad Michael Murray, who has been missing in action since season six, is officially returning to One Tree Hill. CMM is the biggest cast puzzle piece yet, with Tyler Hilton and Paul Johansson also coming back for the ninth and final season. So why does Lucas return to Tree Hill? Because his best friend needs him! Last time we saw Lucas, he was happily driving off into the sunset with his wife, Peyton (Hilarie Burton), and their new baby, Sawyer. But he comes back to his hometown after Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) reaches out to him for help. Since it's speculated that Nathan (James Lafferty) disappears for awhile, perhaps Haley brings Lucas back to Tree Hill to help her find his brother? What better reason is there? Also returning is everyone's favorite mom: Deb! Barbara Alyn Woods recently said in an interview that she would be coming back for OTH's final season as well. The gang's (almost) all here! We just need Burton back as Peyton, and the OTH sendoff will be complete. Murray told E! Online last month that he would "absolutely" come back to One Tree Hill if they asked him. Thankfully, everyone came through. www.eonline.com/news/watch_with_kristin/prodigal_son_returns_chad_michael/260683#ixzz1XNk6QzS4

'One Tree Hill' season 9 spoilers: Chad Michael Murray's return, James Lafferty part-time One Tree Hill is going into its ninth and final season this midseason on the CW, and some familiar faces will be making last appearances before the final goodbye after 13 more episodes. So what brings Lucas back to Tree Hill? Chad Michael Murray is back on OTH According to E! Online, "Lucas comes back in episode 7 and only interacts with Haley and Jamie, and he takes Haley's new daughter Lydia back home with him." Hilarie Burton isn't returning with him, but they won't have just forgotten Peyton's existence. They'll mention her, though not why Lucas is alone. It had been revealed that Lucas returns to help out Haley, but not why. Could whatever brings him back and causes Haley to contact him be why he's taking Lydia with him? Could that have to do with why James Lafferty is only going to be returning part-time as Nathan for One Tree Hill's final season? Where's Nathan going to be for part of the season? Meanwhile, James Lafferty isn't going to be around for every episode (apparently he "didn't want to do all the episodes") and they're going to explain that by saying that "Nathan is taking an unintentional European vacation." entertainment.gather.com/viewArticle.action?articleId=281474980261700

Here is an interview with Kate Voegele...mostly about her music career so if you want to read the whole thing click the link...but she did have this to say about OTH: Right now, Voegele is in the middle of her European tour (she played Dublin last week) and she's not sure if she'll be cropping up in the new season of One Tree Hill. "I love the show but time is always up in the air with me because I'm a guest star, so I may end up coming back. For now I'm not on it, but it's been four seasons and it's just been so much fun. It's a great family of people and I really have enjoyed it." www.rte.ie/ten/2011/0914/voegelek.html
