Teacher/Student relationships

I have a question for eveyone regarding Tamara and other teacher/student relationships. I have noticed this lately that I actually respect Pacey and Tamara's relationship because it was honest. At first Pacey was just attracted to her sexually.

On shows I usually hate the teacher/student relationship especially when they make it seem like they are epic and so in love. I think it is a fantasy first off and then after a day they are in love that is how it is portrayed at times.

How do you feel about those story lines? I actually liked Tamara/Pacey because it was honest for the most part.

I think that DC handled it the best and mot maturely out of other television shows. I hate now that student-teacher relationships are stylized and romanticized, when usually there is a huge age gap, as seen between Pacey at 15 and Tamara at 35.
