Wow what an episode. From start to finish the whole episode was intense! The breakup scene between SE was so sad. Even though I'm not a major SE shipper the scene was so good not because they broke up but because the acting was amazing.
And Aunt Jenna stabbed herself because of Katherine! Didn't see that one coming. Also Katherine compelling Matt at the end! Wow can't wait until next week!

I've only just got around to watching this another good episode I think. I was disapointed that Damon killed hot uncle Mason.
I'm really liking Caroline more and more with each episode I can see her becoming one of my favourites.
I didn't like that Stefan and Elena broke up but I guess it had to happen at some point, othfan I agree about the acting I thought Paul and Nina were amazing in that scence.

I agree Lorelai and OTHFan I was so upset for Hot uncle Mason. But then I could see Damon was right he was sick of the curse I think he really wanted to be there for Tyler but that seemed to be the thing holding him on. Caroline is now one of my favorites. She has just grown on me I find myself really caring for her and wanting to defend her. That scene with her mom was so great! Jeez did not see the aunt Jenna thing coming at all. I know the last scene was so sad. I was upset once I saw Stefan's face Paul did such a good job as well as the others. Another thing is Damon you could tell he genuinely felt for S&E when Elena said Katerine won. I think no matter how much he wants Elena if Stefan makes her happy he can accept that. Who thinks Jeremy is going after Katherine? I do by that end scene and poor Matt he can't catch a break he is turning out to be the Peyton of Vampire Diaries.

I think Jeremy could be going after Katherine too, I'm glad there giving him more to do but hope he doesn't get killed off.
Totally agree Marisa about that last scene I forgot to mention before as I was so blown away by Paul's acting I really thought he was amazing in that scene, that I thought Ian's reaction was really good too, it was just a small thing thing but like you said you could tell from it that he did feel for S&E.

Just got around watching this series again. I love everyone's character especially Katherine and Matt at the end, but I just couldn't help wonder how poorly written this Salvatore's brothers character are.
Damon is a kid, he killed anyone who he think is dangerous and threatened him but he himself can't kill Katherine, the mind set behind all this? Grow a pair!
Stefan is okay, but the last scene was... just well it made me cringe. I hate them both so much its not even funny, how I have to fast forward through their scenes lol.
I Apologize for my negative comment, but this needed to be straighten out!

Oh no you really hate them? Damon is my favorite I always thought he couldn't kill Katherine because he loved her. He loved her all this time then she comes back and says it has always been Stefan I think that made him loose a few screws.
They need to show Matt more than they are. Jeremy is moving very quickly up my list of favorites. Caroline has been bumped up and is pretty much my favorite out of the girls.
