Just wondering if anyone is fans of some shows that were ended too early or not given a fair run (like they only lasted 1 or 2 seasons)? I got on this kick with some shows where I wanted to see what all the fuss was about and what was the point of watching them if there was only 1 season. I ended up REALLY enjoying the following: My So-Called Life Life As We Know It Freaks and Geeks October Road

October Road actually had two seasons. (:
Grosse Pointe is an awesome show with only one season!

I loved Tru Calling (although did that have one and a bit seasons?) I thought it was just starting to get good as it was cancelled. I also liked Point Pleasant.
I've never seen October Road and My so-called life is another show I've never seen, I saw it cheap on DVD recently and was tempted.

Young Americans only got one season and I loved that.
Dollhouse scraped two and that's easily my favourite Whedon show.
I've heard good things about My So-Called Life and October Road has Bryan Greenberg in it doesn't it? Might have to check that one out!

Well it still kind of is, you know what I'm like! I definitely think it's Joss' best, most maturing writing but not sure if it really, actually, pips Buffy. It probably doesn't but I DO think it's his best in terms of concept and writing.

Yes a lot actually, like recent one -
Flash forward (seriously this show is awesome!)
Traveler (not many people know, but it's a good political thriller that is canceled only after one season!)
Eastwick (again new show on ABC, about witches in small town, Rebecca Romijin and cutey pie Lindsay Price stars in it, I'm watching it online and enjoying it so far. canceled only after 13 episodes!)
The class (sitcom about high school mates that reunite after years, and it's hilarious!)

I always wanted to watch Young Americans...anyone know where I can watch episodes online?
I would recommend checking out My So-Called Life, Life As We Know It, and October Road (It does have Bryan Greenberg in it as the main character that is part of what attracted me to the show) they were excellent and all deserved more seasons in my opinion!

I *think* all the Young Americans episodes are on youtube in full. Not sure how good the quality is but I'm going to rewatch it soon and I'll be using that. As long as I can find October Road, I'm going to hit that up! I love this sort of thing/forum/thread for TV show recommendations and stuff. It's awesome!

I can't use hulu because I'm not in the States! Actually throwing a strop/hissy fit right now, lol. I'll have a browse around for it. EDIT: The toys have officially been thrown out my pram because I can only get it on DVD as a region 1 US import not region 2 which is what plays over here. May need to look in to unlocking my DVD player...
