I saw this kind of thread over on BB and liked the idea of it.
It doesn't have to be all the characters, or just your favourites but any times/scenes when you were really disappointed in the characters.
Lucas: throughout a lot of Season 5. I think the way he treated Peyton was so awful and he's so lucky she forgave him.
Peyton: There's not a lot she does that disappoints me. Obviously not a fan of the cheating thing lol but I think I'm also disappointed that she never tried to get Lucas back after the botched proposal. I felt like it wasn't in her character to do that.
Brooke: Two things stick in my mind: 1) when she plasters the pictures of Rachel all over the school and 2) the horrible comments she makes about Peyton's mothers and losing the people she loves.
Karen: When she takes her grief out on Lucas and blames him for Keith's death. I just never thought she'd do that, no matter how sad she was, I was shocked.
That's it for now! Who else?

I would have to agree with you, I really didn't like Lucas in season 5, especially the way he was treating Peyton. He was so cruel. Also, I would much rather see him telling Brook about the kiss when it happened.
I also didn't like Nathan's situation in S5. I always thought he's stronger than that. His son and wife were really hurting.
Peyton. I wish she told Brooke she had feelings for Lucas the first time Brooke asked her too, they would spare each other of so much pain. I also wish she didn't kiss Lucas when he was with Brooke.
Brooke. Like you said, her insulting Peyton's mom and putting those posters of Rachel all around the school were times I didn't liked her. Probably the only time I didn't like her.

I hated Nathan in the beginning of Season Five... but he's not my favorite character and my dislike for him is not uncommon, so...

Yeah, I think the whole Nathan thing was frustrating because he had already been through so much that you kind of hoped he'd moved past it by that point. Especially with Jamie. He spent so many years hating Dan for who he became but then acted the same way.
I agree with you TL about Peyton not telling Brooke. She could have saved them all so much hurt if she had done so, and lets face it she had a lot of opportunities to do it.
