Aw, I don't think you need to feel guilty! I quite like the stalker thing ending that way. I mean, it's kind of how I always see it going down if Psycho Derek ever came back. He really hated Lucas so if they had have decided to bring him back, I could see it have being about him trying to eliminate Lucas as opposed to going after Peyton directly. The kind of mental 'they're the reason they're not with me' thing.
I LOVE the fact Haley is pregnant again. I've been waiting for that for a long time and I really hope it's a girl.
And yay for Brooke! Me and Pacey both agreed earlier that if they're going to show the B Davis wedding then they really need to try and get Hilarie back. P Sawyer wouldn't miss that for the world. Exciting times ahead. I hope we get a season that goes back to the heart of what makes OTH what it is.

I loved the ending...it was such a surprise cliffhanger! Can't believe I have to wait all summer to find out the rest lol...
Also this episode made me start to like Quay somewhat. I have to say how smokin hot Quinn looked! lol

lol, yeah it'll be a long wait! Well I have, this very evening, commenced my official season seven catch up. I watched the first episode a while ago so it was the second episode tonight and where best to discuss it than with you lovelies? First off, it's nowhere near as 'lacking' as I was expecting. I already miss Luke and Peyton SO much but I feel like Brooke and Nate will hold their own. And I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. Brooke was hilarious, I'd missed her! And her telling off of Paul was ace. I already feel like this season is only going to make my love for Nathan grow. James Lafferty has come SO far since the pilot and Nate really is one of my favourite characters. Haley was hilarious with her impressions of Peyton and Lucas, loved that Mia came back to help her kick soulless label ass. BUT Haley did annoy me at the end with Quinn. I know that being judgemental and ever so slightly interfering is a personality trait of hers but it was still annoying, her whole 'people have a right to change' thing. Dan continued to beguile me. I want to believe that he's genuine but I'm struggling, lol. Great to see Rachel back! I like Clay, dude seems pretty cool. I mean I know his role and stuff but its something else to actually watch him. OMG, I didn't not give Austin Nichols enough credit last season for how HOT he is, lol. The whole thing with Julian and his dad actually broke my heart more than anything. When his dad says he doesn't remember that day...seriously pulled at my heart and for both of them, not just Julian. Alex is kind of annoying, I imagine she'll begin to grate on me but from what I've gathered maybe she gets better? Anyway, for those of you that have actually watched already I hope you enjoyed this little trip down memory lane! ;D Oh, question: Quinn, older or younger than Haley?

I believe Haley is the youngest...like that is why we never saw any of her siblings during the high school years because they were all older and off doing their own thing already.
Austin is a hottie...it's the crooked smile I'm telling ya!
Also...forgot to add in my earlier post on the season ender how nice it was the have the whole cast together in one place. I feel like it had really been a while since we had that!

Still, I think Quinn looks younger! lol Yes, the crooked smile and also, this is weird because it's never usually something I notice, but I really like the hair cut he has...lol. I usually notice hair when I don't like it (Lucas late season 4 lol) but it was totally working for him. Anyway, I really feel like I have a lot to look forward to catching up with this season properly!

So episode 3: still loving Nathan more and more. I don't know what it is, but I just love the person he's become.
I'm still not feeling the love for Alex, don't know if I'm 'meant' to. I've never really been a fan of obnoxious humour so her 'funny' lines/moments just make me want to punch her.
There was something oddly touching about the Rachel and Dan flashbacks. There were small gleams of genuineness in there somewhere.
Clay telling Renee to go to hell: awesome! One of the most satisfying moments yet.
As much as I love Skills, his scenes are paling in comparison to the others at the moment.
EDIT: In episode 5 when Haley gets taken to the cell the blonde woman in there REALLY looks like the prostitute Pyscho Derek bought to act as Peyton (the one Lucas saw in the hospital after). Anyone else notice that?
Can't believe Haley hit a pregnant woman. Actually didn't think about that at the time, lol. Pregnant or not, she did deserve it!
Not a fan of where the Millie thing is going. I thought maybe it would make more sense on screen but nope, right now I just think she's an idiot.
Love that Mouth took a stand again. Wasn't all that surprised though, I mean, he destroyed the tape of Lucas pushing that student in season five.

I thought the same thing about that lady looking a lot like Psycho Derek's "friend"...
I think Nathan's transformation has been my favorite to see over the years.
In regards to Alex...the character has gotten better but she still isn't one of my favorites at all. No big loss if she doesn't come back in season 8...I'm not quite sure what makes me not like her...is it the writing for that character? The actress? I just can't put my finger on it...

At the moment I'm feeling it's a mix of both regarding Alex. I think for me it's that I don't 'buy' her 'dumb' act. I'm not convinced by it so I just find it annoying and a bit contrite and I'm leaning more towards that being the actress that doesn't convince me enough. But it could also just as easily be the writing not being able to convey it. Totally agree about Nathan. There's just something so honest and genuine about him that has continued to develop over the years. I loved who Brooke became as well but Nathan's just got this 'thing' lol...yeah, I can't explain it! At first I was like 'hmm why is Quinn comfortable around Clay' but I'm slowly beginning to see this instant connection between them, reminiscent of L/P to some extent. There's subtle hints that they are very much similar people and that draws them together.

I had almost forgotten all you were talking about but yes Melbell I did like seeing them all together in the final episode I almost got a tear lol. I noticed the psycho Derek girl as well and she was at the register I think I cant recall exactly but I thought that was her. Alex was okay in the finale to me I only really started to like her then but she is still my least favorite. Right when I start to care about Quay they do this to me! lol. Nathan has always been my favorite he has grown sometimes I feel he is the nicest one. I will say though when it was on break and came back and I saw Nathan I was like I forgot how good he looked.

I hear ya, marisa. I never used to find him attractive but as he's got older he's totally working it! lol Guy's got some muscles...I like arms, he has good arms.
I really love Quinn. She's so gentle and even though she's currently not in a great place (where I'm watching at the moment) she's still honest and I just think she's lovely. lol
UPDATE: OMG, I just sobbed through pretty much the last five-ten minutes of I and Love and You. I even knew the storyline with that but I couldn't help it. It was so well done and just heartbreaking. The only time I have ever cried like that at OTH is during the shooting episodes (which is a given) and when from when Luke finds Peyton til when she wakes up lol.
I am SO impressed with this season so far.
On a different note - I actually didn't know that Dan has had a heart op and is just lying. I must have missed that reading up on it. Git.

LOL, now you're starting to understand why I love Quay, right? And I actually think that 'I and Love and You' might be a contender among the top five or ten OTH episodes ever. 'Don't You Forget About Me' from season seven would also make my personal top ten; a tribute to a legend that well done deserves respect. Incidentally, if there's any justice, 'I and Love and You' will EASILY win the Emmy for 'Oustanding writing in a dramatic television series.' - I can't think of a single episode of any show in the past year that deserves it more.

I doubt it, teen drama is barely ever recognized at the Emmy's... It's a shame though. If the committee actually took the time to watch the shows, OTH probably would've picked up quite a few already. The obvious one being "With Tired Eyes" - how it didn't win is anybody's guess. Maybe it's time we had our own 'TDF Awards'?
