I loved Ellie and I still think that is one of the best scenes when she dies and Peyton says to take care of her moms basically. That part always makes me cry. Ellie was really great and I loved her and Peyton especially when they opened up to each other. Yeah, Peyton's scenes at the end of that episode are really heart breaking. I always cry when she finds her and drops the CDs. The scenes before that though where Ellie takes her driving in the storm and when they're sat and she's brushing her hair. I think the one gets me the most is when Peyton starts to cry and says 'I don't want to go' and Ellie says 'those words will break my heart'...just so sad. I really loved the fact that she was just SO Peyton's mum lol I think she gave Peyton a lot of incredible advice and strength and faith. She was awesome! Those things got me to. I agree I loved that she was her mom and helped her. Like even though she did not raise her they still had these amazing moments that Peyton can appreciate.

I agree. Ellie was such an amazing character. I liked how both she and Peyton had artistic talent, and good taste in music.

Ok just rewatched what could be one of the most powerful moments out of the whole series for me: when Lucas and the boys walk up to join Jimmy's mother at his funeral.
As much as I love season three, I also hate how much it makes me cry lol

I think season 3 is the season where tears are most involved.

This definitely is one of my favorite seasons of the show. So many great episodes that were well written, well directed and some great acting. Am re-watching Season 3 at the moment up to episode 5 A Multitude of Casualties (Midnight Madness)

I was watching season three a little while ago too. One thing I love about OTH being my favourite show is that even though I am L/P until the end, I don't find myself not wanting to watch B/L together so it doesn't ruin season three for me.
(I will say that it does ruin season two for me because I think it's ridiculous that L/P after everything in season one just goes poof.)
I love Whitey in three too. I love the fact that his whole thing about how important basketball is outside of being just a game - that comes through a lot in this season.

Even though it's more... heart-felt? than a lot of other teen dramas, it still is a teen drama. And it needs drama. Which Brucas provides... hence the name.

Im on season 4 now so just finished season 3. Really upset about Keith, was hoping he would be in a lot longer I will admit i cried like a baby when he got shot. Loved Rachel in this season though, i know she was a bitch and everything but for some reason i liked her character being in the show.

I just watched season 3 not that long ago. It really is a dark kind of season with the shooting and Jimmy and Keith. I can totally relate to your thoughts on B/L P.S. I don't mind seeing luke with either of the girls as he had some amazing times with both of them.
Lizzie- I also really enjoyed the addition of Rachel in season 3. It was nice to have a fresh new character and she was great at starting up the drama!
