The only reason James hasn't been reported to have signed on is because he, unlike the rest of the cast, doesn't have a Twitter account and therefore cannot retweet that he would sign on again 4,000 times a day like a certain Sophia Bush does. And if Mark breaks up Nathan and Haley or Lucas and Peyton that's just lack of creativity on his part. It's already happened, multiple times, and frankly that plot device is trite and tired. To be honest I think he should do a move. Get the cast out of Tree Hill. Bring back Danneel Harris as Rachel, Hilarie and Chad back for just one episode, and I think it could be a great season.

That would be good I find it weird we haven't seen Rachel in a while. If he breaks them up again i could probably stop watching or just watch a youtube video about the episode because like you said it is tired. I think Mark is beginning to be the problem with this show. It all feels the same now except for a few things.

I am not totally against it, but I'm not jumping across my room because of the news.
I would totally be fine with season 8 as the last season, because OTH does not rock as it used to rock.. everything is different. But there is something sad about new season starting without OTH. So, I'm gonna watch it. Season 8 was not THAT bad. I like it more than season 6.

Really? S6 is one of my favourites! Although that has a lot to do with LP, it's also had so much heart. That's the thing I have always loved about OTH and I just didn't see any of it season 8, not really.

Yeah, seasons 5 and 6 bored me.. I really didn't like crazy nanny storyline and all that Leyton vs. Brucas was tiring, because I knew he'll choose Peyton.

You mean Leyton v Brucas in the fandom? Cos it wasn't really played out that way on the show. It was more Peyton v Lindsey with Brooke randomly thrown in lol
Do you think that's why you found it boring? Because there was no BL, well not much to speak of?
The crazy nanny storyline was a bit weird, I'll agree but there were some real heartfelt storylines like Q's death, Leyton baby (the most amazing acting from HB and CMM, no question), Sam and Brooke. I also really like the fact that we finally get the real Lucas back in S6; the Lucas that he hadn't been since Keith died.

Also, I felt weird in that season because I was cheering for Leyton. LOL I was sad there was not a lot of friendship between them, because I was glad the romance part is in the past.

Lol, well you know that I at times have enjoyed some BL - might not reached cheering though I see what you mean. There were some lovely scenes between them in S5 but as soon as LP got back together that seemed to disappear. I think another reason I love S5 and S6 is the BP friendship is at its best!

I would have to agree with that, and that's why I'm said she doesn't even mentions her.. they could make a phone call, or a letter, or email!
