My favorite adult characters were Grams and Gail (Or Gale?). I really couldn't stand the rest most of the time. Yours?

I loved Mitch, to be honest. I cried like a baby when he died.

Grams, hands down. I cried when Mitch died, but he regardless of that he still wasn't a character that consistently likeable. That whole nonsense about which college Dawson was going to and acting like a bit of a tool about it really annoyed me. He was, mostly, really cool but no one beats Grams!

I didn't like Grams to begin with but as the series progressed she became a lot more likeable and a much better charecter, the end episode with Grams was amazing and so upsetting. I did also like Pacey's Dad and Jack and Andies Dad, intially I hated them, but as the series progressed and relationships grew I started to really like them.

I agree with you on Jack and Andie's dad. I really came to sympathise with him as the show went on. I also really liked Bodie (I guess he's more adult than not). Didn't he just kind of disappear and come back again randomly? Oh and welcome!

There's not much I don't like about the show, but Bodie was horribly written and used at all times. He was essentially the token black guy. There was even one reviewer at TWoP who used to refer to him as 'Token' whenever he appeared. Sad, but that's how it really was.

While I agree that he was used in that way at times, I don't think he was poorly written all the time. I can recall a few great scenes between him and Joey.
I more feel he was 'used' in the sense that he wasn't used, if you see what I mean. In reality, he was a huge part of Joey's life but you just never saw it.

Mitch, Grams, and Mr. Brooks for me! The father/son moments between Mitch and Dawson were always priceless. There is a scene in season 4 right before Mr. Brooks passes when he has Dawson help him out of the chair and then he hugs him...I always start crying like a baby at that point!

I like Mitch- he's kind of just an average Joe kind of dad, which is nice to see. I like Grams, too. I don't necessarily dislike any of the adults...

Grams, Mitch and Joey's dad.. I like Joey's dad character though he has minor role, but the funniest was when he meet Edie? lol

I really liked Joey's dad's character. He did some pretty bad things on screen and ones we were told about through Joey, but my favourite scene is when Joey goes to see him at the end of season one. It is one of the most touching scenes and it makes me cry like a baby.
I don't like how he treats Eddie but I do find his character extremely real and certainly pulled at my emotions.

Grams. She's awesome. Truly the perfect image of grandmother.
I loved Mitch too. He was a good man.
