I do like the Taylors. They seem to balance everything very well. Working together, parenting and romance. I like the scene in that last episode where coach goes to his wife for advice about if he should fire Mac or not and he's like let me talk to the guidance counselor not my wife...then he's like let me talk to my wife...then she's like want to talk to your friend and he's like yeah what does she say...lol it was very cute!

Glad to see you finished season 1 Mel. I loved that scene as well. It is so weird I was watching an interview with Connie (Tami Taylor) and she was like if I am not Tami Taylor who am I? I was thinking the same thing I mean she is a great actress she will get another job but I picture the Taylors as the Taylors they are just so real to me.
Can't wait to see your opinions on season two.

Glad you got through season one, Mel. The more people who can love this show, the better the world will be I actually think the Taylors are the best adult couple in a teen show since the Leerys. I'm obviously watching season five now, so the first season seems like a distant memory to me. I do miss all the old characters, though. Obviously, being a high school show, it shouldn't be much of a spoiler to tell you that in the newest season (four years after the first) we've got almost an entirely different cast. The Taylors remain but almost everyone else from season one is off at college. Weirdly, the only characters who are still regulars are Tami and Coach T, Bud and Slammin' Sammy Mead.

Yeah I kind of figured everyone would graduate eventually lol...thats kind of the nice thing about the show...the fact that it's focused on the coach and high school football allows it to stay in a high school setting and I'm sure new students just keep rotating through...
