In many interviews, the cast and crew has stated that the pilot is a replica of the British version, and the first few episodes after that are similar, and then they branch off and develop their own, original plots for the rest of the show.
I agree at the WTF at no Maxxie, but at least they have Tea, who is a lesbian.

I don't understand the Maxii thing at all. They have a lesbian but they could not have Maxxi? I already have it set for tomorrow hopefully it is good. Michelle girl looks okay so far.

@pacey: Thank goodness, because I was kind of confused about that. I know when I went to see the remake of "A Nightmare on Elm Street" I was pissed off because they basically took the original and set it in the present with almost the exact same scenes. Anyway, I'm glad they will be taking a departure from the original. Otherwise, why redo? Just go and find the original, it's not like it's that hard to understand the accent, right? haha. No Maxxi, just pisses me off. Enough said.

I felt joy and anger. Anger because I actually liked Tony/Tea but then overall I didn't like the show very much outside of that. Oh well I suppose.
