So i just watched the pilot and I have that feeling of I can love this show. There were little moments that were so cute, when Jake kissed Hamilton and then Hamilton is like I think I'm gay. Can't wait to see that play out. I will say it is kind of cool to see Will because I always wondered like he went on that date with Andy and then left now it is good to see where he went. Kate Bosworth is adorable here. Ian is so young and cute!

Will do Peyton I am all the way up until the cotillion just finished that episode. I will say I am torn because i don't know how it turns out if Scout isnt her brother but I kind of like Sean. Maybe because I see Logan lol idk he seems to really like her. I will say relationship wise I am most interested in Jake and Hamiliton. I enjoy hearing wills voice overs like you said it reminds me of Liz Parker and early Lucas. I love the teacher he is just there and I enjoy that it seems like he really cares for Will i liked when he gave him something to wear for Cotillion.

Okay so I finished this and it is a bittersweet feeling. I loved this show from the start to the finish and think it was one of those shows that people who watched it will remember. Yet it ended to soon for me. The actors were great and I thought they each brought something to the character. Wish this would go on dvd So my question is to anyone who watched what do you think happened? How do you think events played out? I have my thoughts. First off Jake & Hamilton they have such a different kind of relationship and I like it. It seems so new and you don't see that to much. I like to think they would last or Hamilton would have showed up in New york. My hope is that Jake would have gotten accepted into the girls academy. Also when it comes to Jake and Bella I would like to think they became very close best friends. I could see that in the later episodes and I would have loved to watch more of their friendship. I love Hamilton and I would have loved to see more of him and the guys they clicked. P.S. on them the moment in the finale when Scout is like "What's he doing in a dress?" I laughed so hard, it was just everyone reactions. Hamilton is so random as well at times and I love it. Scout & Bella to me they would have known they werent brothers and sisters and Bella would eventually meet the mystery "dad" at the end of the finale. My thing is I love Scout and Bella and would have loved to see their relationship I just see one problem and it is Will. To me they have this bond kind of like a Pacey and Joey like they could be that couple the one that wasnt supposed to be together but were perfect. Did anyone else notice that? I don't see her lasting with or even being serious with anyone else beside the two so sorry to Logan for gilmore girls . Will My idea on will is he got back into school. I would like to think he would take Scout's help if it came down to it, but Will like he said wanted to make his own way might not do that. Either way I like to think he went back to school. I see him if they had shown their careers a writer and a good one at that . This show was simply amazing and I was sad it ended soon. It did end with some open details but then I think it ended okay because it was the end of the summer program and I would take seeing these short episodes over not seeing them at all.

Yay! I am SO pleased that you loved this show, M!
It really is amazing isn't it? I was also really sad that it didn't go any further. I love all the possibilities that you've come up with and they pretty much perfectly match my own.
I loved Jake/Hamilton, Hamilton is such a legend. He has some really cool moments.
I think that Bella/Scout would have ended up not being brother/sister. It would be excruciating to find out that they were. I kinda see what you're saying about Will with them too but from what I remember I saw more of a familial/friendship bond between that went beyond something romantic long term - kinda like Joey/Dawson's realisation in the finale.
As to Will's fate? I think it could have gone either way. I think it took what happened to him to realise that he was actually capable of being whatever he wanted to be on his own terms. He has the strength and the determination and he just needed to find it. I could also totally see him as a writer too, especially if he just collected all his memoir/voice overs together lol
After reading your thoughts, I am totally going to rewatch this. Did you watch them all on youtube in the end?

Thanks Peyton! I downloaded them and have them stored just in case I want to re-watch later on. Have fun on your re-watch I will say it is so nice to see Ian as Hamilton and as Damon because they are so different and I love both so it feels like i have kind of the best worlds. I love the actress who plays Jake I was liking her on Three rivers but then it got cancelled so I didn't see anymore of her. Oh I know if they were related that would be like some curse in a way lol, but now I see what you are saying about Will and Bella. Like how she said she had a crush on him when she was younger like Dawson and Joey in a sense. Well I can say if they decided to put the two together I hope it wouldn't have ruined a great friendship like it did Pacey and Dawson so I am glad we will never know about them now. I would have been proud of Will no matter what. Like you said he really came into his own and it was so great to see this. I love his one voice over don't remember the quote exactly when he said he was starting to believe in the possibilities. He should make a book of those I would read it haha . I am going to miss his voice overs they are so inspirational and bring so much to his character.

I loved it! Ian Sommerhaulder (AKA Vampire Damon ;D) was so hot! He never ages!
It definately has a Dawson's Creek-vibe to it.
The chick who was pretending to be a man...whatever her name is...looked like Kristen Stewart - anyone else see it?
Yeah, I got hooked - I hate when that happens lol. I did it with My So-Called Life and my life was never the same lol

I did it with My So-Called Life and my life was never the same lol I know! I was watching Vampire Diaries and it was a small scene but for an obsessive person like me lol it seemed huge. He talked just like Hamiliton. I was like aww. I saw the Dawsons creek vibe but if this lasted longer who knows which one I would have liked more You can see a little but not to much to me lol. My life is not the same after watching this, Hidden palms and MSCL. I am like oh man why did you have to go? I have a feeling I will be saying that about Freaks and Geeks as well.
