How are you guys liking it so far?
Personally, I like the first one better, though the 2nd season isn't that bad, but Annie and Dixon's character got worst. Don't you think? Which character you like or despise this season?? That Teddy dude is too blond lol

I've been hating Season 2 until recently, but I'm loving the Gia and Nina characters, they make up for the fact that Teddy and Liam are total douchebags.

Is it true that Jennie Garth left the show? =/ Basically, Becky Kirschner, the new producer, wanted all the old cast members out to freshen it up. So Jennie either jumped or got pushed, depending who you believe.

They wanted the originals out because they wanted the new show to be able to stand on its own. But...here is what really gets me ****spoiler
Dixon's whole gambling storyline!? Hello Brandon Walsh! It's not like they are even trying to put a fresh spin on the story arc. Dixon is betting on basketball games just like Brandon did. We all know it's going to end badly.
It just really irks me that they are trying to make the show separate from the original yet they are doing the EXACT same storylines in some cases!
I agree that season 1 was way better! ***spoiler
The Silver storyline with bipolar disorder was so fresh and original and Jason Preistley directed the episode where she goes all "crazy"and it was so well done!
Also I am loving Gia but Teddy not so much. I like Ivy too! Hate that Rob Estes is out after this season. Best eye candy on the show to me lol...even over all the youngins.

Do you know if any originals are slated to appear in the future? I would really love to see Gabrielle Carteris come back as Andrea.

From what I have read they aren't going to be doing anymore guest appearances by original cast members. I think the only ones who were interested (Jennie, Shannen and Tori) all appeared on the show. I know for certain that I have read interviews with Brian, Ian, Tiffani, and Luke and all have expressed no desire to make an appearance. Gabbie is the only one whom has yet to comment on the new show. At one point I know Jason was supposed to direct at least one episode this season but I haven't heard anything else about it. Oh and Carol Potter (Cindy Walsh) said she wanted to be on the show.

It's good they aren't guess staring again, this show have gone haywire! Check the final episode synopsis which I copy paste from IMDB (no spoiler, i think...) ' In the second season final, when Annie decides to confess to the police and everyone else about her hit-and-run accident over a year ago, she discovers a shocking twist which is that she didn't even run over Jasper's uncle, and that someone else did. Meanwhile, Liam and Jasper get in a fistfight over Annie, and Liam will suffer the consequences. Jen tells Ryan she is pregnant with his baby and threatens to revealing details about his past unless she does what she says. The conflict between Teddy and his father gets more heated over his refusal to break up with Silver. Harry and Debbie make a decision to end their marriage over their differences. At the end, something horrible happens to Naomi involving a random guy.' Am I the only one that think the writer have gone from mediocre to worst? Annie's parents marriage falling apart? just because Debbie had one kiss with her Yoga instructor, and Harry just had mental affair with Kelly? Jen is back which is good, but what's up with all this revenge-threat theme? this is a teen show not Melrose Place! And okay, Jen is pregnant? another pregnancy in the show?! Lastly, Jasper the creepy guy is still in the show! lol I had it enough of this teen drama writers, they think the viewers are all dumb morons ;D I'm watching the old 90210, and dang! what a milestone difference.

I haven't watched the episode that aired last week yet but other than that I am all caught up to that point. Aidrianna and Navid are my favorite part of the show and they need to get back together already! SO SICK of Teddy and Silver can they just get rid of him already? Not sure if I like Dixon and Ivy together...I totally want Annie and Liam to get together...they have amazing chemistry! Can't believe that witch Jen is back!

I'll agree with what you said about the writing, Michael. I mean, I'm obviously going to pick more faults than most as a teen drama writer, but it's been awful of late. I've actually stopped watching, the way they dragged out the Annie storyline has been - pun fully intended - a car crash. Except the bad kind, the one you don't slow down to watch. Over here, we have a straight choice in that timeslot: 90210 or Vampire Diaries. And then they both get repeated at ten. You know what? I don't switch over after TVD anymore. I just don't have the desire. I'd rather throw in some old Roswell or something.
