 Secret Circle, Ringer cancelled
« Thread Started on May 12, 2012, 4:17pm »

Quote:
Ringer has been canceled by The CW.

The Secret Circle - the finale of which aired yesterday (May 10) in the US - has also been axed.
Sarah Michelle Gellar drama Ringer has struggled in the ratings, with audience numbers falling as low as 1.05m.

Executive producer Pam Veasey recently said about the show: "It was not... I guess you could use the word 'accessible'.

"[If we did it again] we'd make it more accessible for people who just drop in, probably do less in an episode. And what I mean by that is make it less complex in the plotting."

Despite its difficulties, Veasey had been optimistic about getting a second season.

Gossip Girl, Nikita and freshman series Hart of Dixie, however, have all been renewed for another season.

Elsewhere, the network has given full season orders to five new shows, including Sex and the City prequel The Carrie Diaries and comic book adaptation Arrow.

Thanks Marisa I'll have to sign them. I was really suprised at the Secret Circle, I know it wasn't doing as well as expected but I was thinking it would get at least one more season.

Thats too bad. Especially since CW is known for giving struggling shows a second chance. Is 90210 coming back? I didn't watch last season at all.
