 3.05 The Reckoning

Wowsers, what an episode! A serious rollercoaster of emotions, I actually thought I'd have a panic attack at one point.

I've had WAY too much time to think about it to give an unbiased summary of the episode but I love how they are continuing this idea about how important Elena is to Stefan, I think it's really adding something to Stefan's character.

I LOVED the end, I loved how Stefan came in and seemed to be so unfazed by what was going on and so nonchalant. I really hope we're going to see a much funnier more cynical version of Stefan as he tries to deal with being back in Mystic Falls.

Wahey for the arrival of Michael, very excited! I really can't wait for the rest of the season, I think it's going to be very interesting.

Best episode of season 3 so far, and one of the best episodes in the whole show, for sure.

Every episode makes me love Stefan more and more, but what makes me sad is the fact that most of the viewers do not know where to draw the line between Ripper Stefan and real Stefan. In my eyes, those are two completely different people, and I have no problem with telling them apart. One Stefan is always living inside of another (Ripper Stefan is always going to be part of Stefan, and good Stefan is somewhere in Ripper Stefan) but who wins is what counts. Stefan's love for Elena is what continues to amaze me from episode to episode. I know that love is something that will never end, and something that will never go away.. that love will live inside of him no matter what happens. The tragic thing is, that love will still be there even if Elena leaves him, and Stefan will hurt so much, again. It's tragic and painful, but beautiful in the same time.
